Apple seeds iOS & iPadOS 14 Beta 2 to developers
Today Apple is releasing a second developer beta of iOS & iPadOS 14. iOS 14 introduces many features including home screen widgets, picture-in-picture video, and an all new App Library. Though iOS & iPadOS 14 Beta 1 was praised for its stability, it also introduced a number bugs concerning storage optimization, widget refresh issues, and missing apps on the home screen.
Developers that have installed the iOS 14 Developer Beta Profile can now access iOS 14 Beta 2 by navigating to the Settings app and installing the update over-the-air (OTA). Direct downloads for the latest beta firmware can also be accessed by developers via Apple’s dev portal at developer.apple.com
