The Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 2 design has been leaked in a render showing the new display and camera design. It bears a striking resemblance to the upcoming Note 20 it will launch besides and introduces a much larger main and cover display than the previous generation. We expected the phone to be announced on August 5th during Samsung’s unpacked event.

Display (Main): 7.7 inch

Leaks tell us the Z Fold 2 will make some major screen size improvements over the original Fold. Samsung will increase the cover screen size from 4.6” to 6.23” and main screen from 7.3” to 7.7".
The Z Fold 2 will cost $1,999 and support 5G connectivity, 15W wireless and reverse charging.
Conclusion
While the Galaxy Z Fold 2 doesn’t tout any massive improvements, Fold enthusiasts will appreciate its larger cover screen and hole punch camera. Still hovering around $2,000, Samsung’s second foldable isn’t for the everyday smartphone user. People looking for a beautiful, expensive, 5G connected piece of the future are more suited for this device.
