But please don’t buy one…

Following Escobar Inc.’s ludicrous attempt at establishing itself as a provider of luxury foldable smartphones in late 2019, the company is once again attempting to gain relevancy in the smartphone sphere with its newest offering: a "gold-plated" iPhone 11 Pro. This time, via an official announcement, Escobar Inc. has stated that it is selling a limited supply of "formerly damaged" iPhone 11 Pro devices in the 256 GB configuration.

Founder of Escobar Inc. Robert Escobar, better known as the younger brother of infamous drug lord Pablo Escobar, has expressed his desire to become "the overstock kingpin". This statement and the announcement of Escobar Inc.’s refurbished iPhone scheme follows the $2.6 billion lawsuit that the company filed against Apple last Tuesday regarding a largely baseless security flaw present in Apple’s proprietary video chat platform known as FaceTime.

Earlier this year notable tech YouTuber MKBHD publicly detailed an experience with a previous Escobar Inc. product. He claimed the company’s "gold-plated" foldable smartphone that was actually nothing more than a re-branded Samsung Galaxy Fold that had been outfitted with a cheap aluminum foil sticker and preloaded mugshot-themed wallpapers. The YouTuber also detailed Escobar Inc.’s history of failing to fulfill smartphone orders with many units never delivered.

Today, both MKBHD and Fellow YouTube Mrwhosetheboss published a video covering the new phone. Both had the same message: dont buy it.

Using shocking advertisements the company hopes to grab the public’s attention. But, don’t be fooled, almost no one reported delivery of the last two products from Escobar Inc except for a few notable influencers: the Escobar “Gold” 11 Pro is unlikely to be any different. The company shipped books in place of the promised phones and payment is only accepted in cryptocurrency. It seems as if all of this is an elaborate ruse to buy time as a couple purchases flow in from marketing hype.

Our advice is to forgo purchasing Escobar Inc.’s "gold-plated" iPhone, “available” today for $499 (half the current retail price of a new $999 iPhone 11 Pro). But, to those willing to take a gamble by purchasing the device, we hope your an important influencer.
