Galaxy “EarBeans” to debut alongside the Note 20
Samsung’s newly leaked earbuds have an interesting shape…
Samsung Galaxy Buds Live leaked, to launch on August 5
The buds will cost around $150 and compete with AirPods Pro
The Buds come in Black, White, and Mystic Bronze
Samsung’s next-gen Galaxy Buds, “Galaxy Buds Live,” were first tipped in April 2020, with a supposed launch in July. Now it seems that they will launch alongside the ultra-hyped Galaxy Note 20 on August 5, 2020.
These seem to have a rather interesting exterior shape. Their “bean-like” design has raised the eyebrows of many Twitter users, with famous leaker Max Winebach sarcastically tweeting, “BEANS BEANS BEANS”.
Where do these fit in the line-up?
The Galaxy Buds+ are said to be AirPods competitors and the new Galaxy “EarBeans” would be AirPods Pro competitors. Some early leaks indicate a price as low as $150. This would seem hard as the Galaxy Buds are around the same price but if they do manage to undercut the AirPods Pro by $100, it would be a steal!
The Galaxy Buds Live are supposed to come in three flavors - Black, White, and “Mystic Bronze”. Samsung has always maintained a liking for multiple colors, in stark contrast to Apple’s approach to AirPods, which despite many rumors lack any color except White.
Conclusion:
This has been a disappointing year for Samsung. Their flagship Galaxy S20 reported disappointingly poor sales. Now, with their “UNPACKED” event scheduled for August 5, Samsung has managed to raise a lot of hopes with their upcoming Flip 5G and beautiful new Note 20.
The EarBeans would be a great addition to their TWS (True Wireless Stereo) line-up. The Galaxy Buds have failed to achieve the jaw-dropping success of the AirPods. Samsung can only hope these new “EarBeans” can achieve better success and not become be the butt of a joke for their unique shape.
OnePlus is known for being a company that creates phones to “kill” big brand name flagships. And, the OnePlus 9T would be no different! But, with the OnePlus 9 and 9 Pro already being great phones, some tech enthusiasts are questioning the need for a phone in the middle.
